I may have finally grown up out of my 47-year-long wishing era. I can’t be certain, but for now, I think the next half of my life is for being an explorer on expeditions. More doing, and less overthinking (about the doing). Less procrastination and avoidance (help me, Lord).

Welcome to a recent journal entry:

Perfection was never the goal, really.
It became an excuse.
The unachieavble ideal.
The fuel of the freeze
Not sure how to please, to proceed?
FREEZE.

The freeze is never enjoyable.
It’s not a day off on the couch with your favorite show.

It’s a paralysis while your brain is running in loops.
Circling around and around scenarios.
Destinations you’ll never arrive at
